Christmas in Muscatine, Iowa

Early this year, Joe  (Monika's brother) and his wife Asha and baby Daniel moved to Iowa from Columbia, South Carolina.  So we decided to try and get our families together and help celebrate Christmas and help "break-in" their new home.

So we flew Glenn's parents in from Florida and actually rented a mini-van (Mazda MPV)  for the 5.5hr drive down to southeastern Iowa.  Joe and Asha were excellent hosts and we all had a great time.  All the families (Glenn's, Monika's/Joe's, Asha's) had great time celebrating, talking, drinking Polish vodka with some weirdo weed in it.

Joe took us on a driving tour of Muscatine (yes, we took the rental mini-van) where we checked out the quaint downtown, an overlook of the Mississippi, and a park where we saw some migrating birds and tired to toss Joey into a fishing pond.
