Can you say "pwnage"?

20FEB06:  Well, well, well...what can I say, but how lucky am I to have someone like my wife Monika.  For my 34th birthday, Monika coordinated with her brothers Greg and Chris  and Mom Kuc to get me an Xbox 360.  Well, actually I didn't "physically" get one yet; I got a birthday card with an "I owe you..." Post-it note with "Xbox 360" on it.  Yeah, I thought they were playing a REALLY mean trick; but she said they weren't joking.

The problem was that nobody could FIND an Xbox 360 anywhere, Monika tried for 3 weeks to find one with no luck, hence the IOU.  Well, with the knowledge that this for was for real; the next day I headed over to a video gaming store which was less than 5 minutes away to see if they had any in.  And, lo and behold they had 2 core systems "laying around".  So on February 15th, 2006,  I picked up one and 2 wireless controllers and a couple of games (Condemned and Halo2).  They had no hard drive, but I actually found one 2 days later at a Target near work (last one in stock).

Wow, what an awesome system!!!  Currently, I picked up a couple more games - Burnout Revenge and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warrior.  We are both haven't a great time with the 360; and are astounded by the graphics it can offer.

Thanks again to Monika, The Boys, and Mom Kuc for the great birthday gift.  Now the boys have to come up from Chicago so we can put the smack down on them!!!

For those on Xbox Live!  Look for me on Halo2 and especially GRAW.  My ID is "RedHeckle" or check out my gamertag above.
