experiencing the trials and tribulations of growing up and working in the
Chicagoland area all our lives; we've decided to lace up our hiking boots
and venture forth to see what adventure lies west of the Mississippi River
and then some. We've
come to realize that our spirits are a tad bit restless and are longing for some
sort of balance. So this trip serves two purposes:
1)
Life is short; and the world is big. So why not traveling around for a
while. 2)
Relocation scouting of West, Northwest and Pacific areas of the USA to call a
place home. Click the months on the left side so you
can trace the path of our journey; and read the tales we have to tell!!!
The
memories that both Monika and I have experienced here are truly cherished; but
not as much as the friends we've made along the way. Those adventures (and man
some of them were...) that we and all of you share will always be cherished
and fondly remembered. We both thank all of you for the times that were
spent together; and we hope there will be more in the future.
So,
with that being said; anyone want to relocate with us when we get back???!!!???
C'mon, we all can us a little side-trip adventure!!!!!

and Monika (August 2001) 12/19/2001- We're finally home, and we apologize in the lack of updates. Go HERE to see what's happened and our next game plan.....Minneapolis, MN - our new home. Also I've changed the e-mail address for people to contact us since I guess there was a problem with the yahoo one...sorry. 11/3/2001- We're still trying to resolve some upload issues; but click HERE for the long waited MANTA RAY pictures!!!! Plus our write up of New Orleans. ATV pictures soon. 11/3/2001(after midnight)- We've been experiencing some picture technical difficulty. We have hopefully corrected some flaws and things will go a lot smoother for ya'all. Oops, we've been in the south to long. Enjoy and if you have some problems pls email us so we could check it out on our end or maybe help you on yours. Go HERE for the new stuff that starts in October 11/1/2001- Lots of pictures!!! We're in the city of Voodoo New Orleans and what a cool city. We got here in time for Halloween night after an exhausting drive in. We're winding our tour up and we thought this be a good place to help wrap up our trip. And oh my gosh...we're actually caught up!!!!! Actually the stuff from today will be up by the weekend, since we leave for Glenn's parents place in Florida on Friday (13+ hours of driving fun). We'll be adding the ATV trip and Manta Ray dive photos from Hawaii over the weekend so be patient!! 10/23/01- Yes, we are ALIVE. You just don't realize that doing a web site like take alot of work. Personally, I think it's alright. When we have more time after the trip, we try to clean it up a bit. Yeah, we know; we're just a wee bit behind. We added most of Hawaii; there should be more added within a couple of days. Go here... 10/04/01- It's 10:30pm here, so it's 4am CST. Yup we're in Kauai, HI and we leave for Oahu, HI tomorrow at 6am. As you can tell, we've been so busy having a good old time that we haven't done much with the site. Believe there is ALOT to tell!!! We head back to San Diego Sunday and the site should be up to date by early next week. So keep checking back, there's alot to tell. Here's a teaser: three 5ft white-tip reef sharks, a 6ft green turtle, helicopter ride around the island, a luau, and a 4hr ATV ride through the Hawaii jungle.......... So please be patient with us!!!! Thanks!! 09/25/01-We're all go for Hawaii!!!! Also I added bear pictures from Glacier National Park. 09/24/01-More updating and this time we're pretty much up to date. It's nice to be in one place for more than one day; it's given us a chance to recoup. But hey, Hawaii's NEXT!!!! 09/21/01-It seems like forever, but we're at our last night in San Francisco, CA!!! What a great city and we've updated more. So far it's up to 9/16. Sorry for the delay, but we've spent all day walking through SanFran. We're heading for San Diego tomorrow and we should be fully up to date by early next week. We're even going to include the pix of that black bear we ran into at Glacier NP!!! So be patient and check back in a few days!!!! Take care to you all!! 09/12/01- We're all caught up to Portland, OR. Pretty tough with the state of nation. 09/06/01- We're in Tacoma, WA and finally added the rest of Yellowstone and first half of Glacier National Park. The rest should be updated in the next couple of days. 08/29/01- Continuation of our Yellowstone Trip 08/28/2001- Addition of a "Calendar" for those of you interested in joining us. Rearrangement of information on links, so pls see all the links for the changes and additions. A few "Deep Thoughts" additions. And more on "Our Travels" (Up through beginning of Yellowstone). 08/27/2001- Added a link to Yahoo photos for more pix of our trip.
